History
Founded in 2006 by the Certner brothers, Matthew, Zachary, and Daniel; SNAP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Morristown, New Jersey. SNAP was started with the mission to create a world where all children, regardless of ability, are valued, respected, and included. Through our diverse range of programs, we promote anti-bullying initiatives, foster inclusivity, and cultivate empathy among youth. From sports and after-school activities to educational and mentoring opportunities, SNAP is dedicated to empowering children with autism and special needs to thrive in an environment of understanding and support.
In 2024, SNAP transitioned ownership to Kimberle Strasser, a dedicated lead and board member since its inception, who continues to spearhead the organization's growth and expansion, ensuring that its mission of fostering inclusivity and empathy for all children remains steadfastly at the forefront of its endeavors.
