SNAP's Ambassador Program

Learn more about our Ambassador Program below!

The SNAP Ambassador Program is a leadership initiative within the Morris
School District that recognizes 5th grade students who exemplify inclusivity,
kindness, and a consistent willingness to support others. Ambassadors are
selected for their positive character and serve as role models within their
school community.
As part of their role, SNAP Ambassadors assist in facilitating Disability
Awareness sessions for 3rd and 4th grade students. These comprehensive,
hands-on lessons provide age-appropriate education about disabilities
commonly present in the school and broader community. Through their
participation, Ambassadors promote understanding, respect, and empathy,
while encouraging their peers to extend kindness and friendship to all
students.
